Addiction without Borders

Very interesting story this morning on NPR radio by Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson about the rapid spread of drug addiction in war torn Afghanistan. Given the trauma many Afghans suffered... it is not at all surprising that many are turning to drugs to numb and self sooth.
